Warrant - Certificate
giving the holder the right to buy at a specified price within a specified time period (sometimes perpetually). Warrants are offered with securities as an inducement to buy. Warrants are used on new issues and Debenture IPO's.
They are just like a Call Option only they have a longer time period.
