Stock Splits
Splits - even ordinary splits must be voted on by the directors
and approved by the shareholders.
Splits increase the number of shares that are outstanding and reduce the price of each share proportionately.
Would you rather own 10 shares at $100 each or 20 shares at $50 each? - doesn't matter.
